There are many scenarios when a dental extraction may be necessary. These range from over retention of primary teeth, non-restorable decayed teeth, abscesses, or requests from an orthodontist to create additional space for erupting permanent teeth. When extracting teeth at Kids First Pediatric Dentistry, we take special care to make the process as easy as possible. In doing so, we use certain psychology techniques to ease your child’s anxiety, and also may use sedation dentistry when appropriate.
